Building Community, Our Values in Action Photo Collage9A_Final

The school year is off to an amazing start. We have a community that is thriving, and our two schools are demonstrating excellence every day.

Last week our middle school students did an amazing job of building community and giving back. They have been exploring current events and the world. Recently they recognized the impact that hurricanes are having on different parts of the country and decided they should raise money to help the affected communities recover. Together with staff they planned, organized and ran a car wash and a bake sale in order to help have impact. Beyond helping others and the larger world, they did another thing. They brought together staff, students, and various departments for a day of giving back and helping one another. We witnessed an entire campus find shared cause, working together, achieving not only the goal of helping others, but also making our school a better place. It is moments like these that show us the larger learning experience schools can provide, and how our real goal is creating citizens and the pursuit of lifelong learning, which enriches us all

Together We Can Achieve,
