Our
mental health professionals are seasoned experts who have a range
of training and backgrounds. They are multicultural, intuitive and
trained in the latest areas focusing on communication,
mental disorders and psycho therapy.
Their work is integrated
with classroom instruction. Clinicians and teachers develop behavioral
plans to address unsafe or disruptive outbursts. These plans incorporate
social functioning, cognitive and emotional development. They reflect
discussion with both the child and the family. We provide a results
oriented approach that has been replicated by other agencies.
We often work directly
with school districts, providing services that they cannot provide
on their campuses.
What type of mental health services do you
provide?
Achievekids
provides individual and family counseling. We provide group counseling
for students in our school program. We work very closely with families
to support their parenting needs. Our approach is child and family

behavior modification. We support the development of social skills,
coping skills and healthy family and school functioning.
What kind of training do your therapists have?
Our therapists have a Master's or Doctorate degree
in Clinical Psychology, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
They are licensed or supervised by a licensed mental health clinician.
Areas of expertise include Art Therapy and Play Therapy. All of
our clinicians provide culturally sensitive services.
