Achievekids gives children an opportunity to learn how to recognize their feelings and express them appropriately. We teach individuals how to replace destructive, abusive, and aggressive behaviors with age-appropriate coping, anger management, and social skills. Our multilingual staff provides focused, caring outpatient counseling for youth up to age 22 and their families. We also help caregivers with the ongoing support necessary for our special student population.

Students and families learn how to advocate for themselves and how to navigate through the often complicated services system.

Achievekids mental health therapists include licensed and credentialed professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, and licensed marriage and family counselors, as well as highly trained and experienced interns and paraprofessionals.

In order to access services for our outpatient counseling program, the parent or caretaker must call the Intake Coordinator who will complete a screening and determine eligibility. To qualify for our program, you must have MediCal, be MediCal eligible or otherwise be without private medical insurance coverage.
